THE QUALIFYING STAGE OF THE 67TH WORLD PLOWING CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE HELD IN MORDOVIA
On September 22-25, the qualifying stage of the 67th World Plowing Championship will be held in Mordovia. The venue will be one of the fields of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "May 1" of the Oktyabrsky district of Saransk. Russia applied for the right to host the world plowing championship back in 2009. And so, in 2022, it will be held in our country for the first time.
According to izvmor.ru, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Mordovia noted that the goals of holding international arable competitions are unchanged.
These are increasing the prestige of the work of farmers and attracting young people to agricultural production, improving the culture of farming, improving methods of cultivating land, sharing best practices in agriculture, preserving, developing and promoting modern eco-friendly technologies in the agro-industrial complex.
