THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS SUPPORTED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE (SEZ) IN MORDOVIA
In Russia, work continues on the formation of territories with special conditions for entrepreneurial activity, where investors can implement economically significant projects under favorable terms.
As part of this work, a resolution has been adopted to establish 3 new Special Economic Zones:
- The Special Economic Zone “Sistema” will be located in Saransk and on the territory of the Lyambirsky district in Mordovia. It will host at least 6 companies as residents, with a total investment volume exceeding 33.3 billion rubles. Additionally, 775 jobs will be created.
- The Special Economic Zone “Rostovskaya” will be established in Novocherkassk. It is planned to host 8 companies, attracting 8.6 billion rubles in investments and creating at least 790 jobs.
- The Special Economic Zone “Emmauss” will be established in the Kalininsky and Konakovsky districts of the Tver region. Private investors are prepared to invest over 17 billion rubles in their projects and create nearly 8,400 new jobs.
