THE SOWING CAMPAIGN HAS BEGUN IN MORDOVIA
In Mordovia, the spring sowing has begun. This year, 763,000 hectares have been allocated for cereal crops. The region's enterprises have everything necessary to complete the work on time and in accordance with all agrotechnical norms. This information is reported by the official website of the authorities of the Republic of Mordovia.
Compared to last year, the sowing area has increased by 4,000 hectares. The majority will be sown in spring, with 518,000 hectares dedicated to spring crops. These include cereals such as wheat, barley, maize, oats, millet, and buckwheat, as well as legumes like peas and lentils. Additionally, 111,000 hectares will be cultivated for oilseeds and 25,000 hectares for industrial crops. Almost 156,000 hectares have been allocated for winter crops in the republic.
