Tourist routes from Mordovia are among the best in Russia
At the XII All-Russian Tourist Award "Route of the Year", which took place on November 13-15 in Perm, the Republic of Mordovia won four awards at once. Success in one of the most prestigious industry competitions in the country clearly confirms the growing tourism potential of the region and creates favorable conditions for investments in infrastructure and services.
In the nomination "The Best bicycle route", the bronze medal was awarded to the project "Through Saransk on wheels", organized by the Tourist Information Center of Mordovia.
The third place in the nomination "The best military historical route" was awarded to the project "Sursky Frontier. Kilometers of Memory" from the Wind of Wandering studio of non-standard travel. In addition, the studio's team was awarded in two more categories.: she took the third place in the nomination "The best weekend route" for the project "Urusovskie Valenki" and the second place for the "Best rural tourism route" — "Journey to the ends of the lands".
