Unified resident card will appear in Mordovia
Sber will support the project "Unified card of a resident of the Republic of Mordovia" to create a convenient digital service for citizens. The agreement on the implementation of this project was signed by the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and Kirill Tsarev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, at the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In the future, it will be possible to issue a "resident card" or connect it in Sberbank. It will work both as a payment instrument and as a social card: you can use it to receive regional benefits and support measures. Other services and loyalty programs from the “Mir” system may also be linked to it.
Artyom Zdunov emphasized: "The Resident Card project is primarily aimed at improving the quality of life, comfort and safety of our citizens. Residents of the republic will receive a convenient multifunctional tool that will make it easier to receive the necessary services – this is always a priority for us."
"Sber participates in the implementation of the "Resident Card" in many regions of the country. This opens up access to a convenient digital service for millions of Russians and allows them to use one card in different situations: when they need to pay for a purchase, receive social benefits, and so on. Today we signed an agreement to launch a project in Mordovia. A resident card can be issued on the basis of a valid SberCard, which is very simple, convenient and profitable," said Kirill Tsarev, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.
