THE FOUNDATION OF A NEW FEED MILL WAS LAID IN THE KOVYLKINSKY DISTRICT
On August 10, the foundation of a new feed mill with a capacity of 400 thousand tons of feed per year was laid in Kovylkinsky district. An investment project worth about 2 billion rubles is being implemented by the Talina group of companies. Within the framework of the project, which is scheduled to be completed in 2023, about 100 jobs will be created.

As part of the diversification of production in Mordovia, a unique product was created at the «EM-Kabel» enterprise – a CRRC brand road barrier cable (corrosion-resistant road cable made of aluminum-coated steel). Fences based on road cables are mounted much faster than concrete and metal analogues, and their installation does not require the expansion of the roadway. It is easier and more cost effective. But the most important advantage of CRRC is its high resistance to corrosion, which means that it will last much longer.

RM RAIL HAS CERTIFIED A HOPPER CAR FOR CEMENT TRANSPORTATION
RM Rail company has certified the hopper car model 19-1272 for the transportation of cement and other bulk cargo. It replaced the hopper car model 19-1217, put into production in 2005. The body volume of the new car has been increased to 72 cubic meters, which is the maximum value for this kind of rolling stock. The carrying capacity increased by one ton, it amounted to 74 tons, the company's press service reported. Design solutions allowed to keep the dimensions.
MORDOVIA SCIENTISTS HAVE PATENTED A NEW TYPE OF SELF-HEALING CONCRETE
Scientists of the Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev, together with co-authors from Iraq, received the fourth Eurasian patent for the invention of self-healing concrete. The university has already developed 3 types of self-healing concrete. The invention of 2022 is distinguished by the technology of using microorganisms of various nature and special modifiers. When cracks appear in structures based on self-healing concrete, they are healed under the control of bacteria as a result of the formation of mineral sediment.
