NEW SITE FOR RAIL VEHICLES PRODUCTION IN SARANSK
In 2019 it is planned to start the production of innovative rail vehicles in Saransk. The project will provide jobs for up to 600 people. The first production is scheduled for February 2019. Now the company is recruiting staff for the new production that will be established after the modernization of Saransk industrial site of Ruzkhimmash. The company has its own centre for personnel training.
AMENDMENTS TO THE TAX LAWS OF MORDOVIA
At the regular session of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia there were introduced amendments to some tax laws of the Republic of Moldova. They cancel unclaimed tax incentives and benefits, which are considered ineffective according to the results of the assessment carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
On November 23, the Association of clusters and technology parks of Russia held the III Annual practical conference "Industrial Russia 4.0 – improving the competitiveness of regions".
NEW RESIDENT OF RUZAEVKA PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT AREA
On November 12 Company with limited liability "RMR Digital Technologies" obtained the official status of the resident of Ruzaevka priority social and economic development area. The relevant decision was made by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
BUSINESS DELEGATION FROM THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA ARRIVED IN FINLAND
On November 11, the delegation of representatives of the Republic of Mordovia chaired by the Head of the region Vladimir Volkov arrived in Finland for a business trip. Members of the delegation will have been working with Finnish colleagues in different fields for three days. The delegation includes senior Government officials, representatives of industrial enterprises, public and educational institutions, agro-industrial and processing enterprises.
Last Friday, October 19, the Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov held a working meeting with the managers of the investment project on greenhouse complex construction in Zubovo-Polyansky district to discuss the details of its implementation. The planned amount of investment is about 3 billion rubles. The meeting was attended by a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Head of the United Russia fraction, a member of the State Duma Committee on agricultural issues Viktor Kidyaev.
INVESTORS FROM CHINA SHOWED THEIR INTEREST IN THE PRODUCTION OF MEDICINES IN MORDOVIA
Mordovia senior officials and representatives of Saransk plant Biokhimik discussed cooperation in pharmaceutical production with partners from China during the meeting. According to the press service of the Head of Mordovia, the delegation from Shandong province came to Saransk with business visit. The Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov discussed possible cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry with Pen Xin, General Director of Lukan Pharmaceuticals. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed company Petr Bely, Director of NC Pharm Vasily Mironkin, CEO of Biokhimik Dmitry Zemskov and members of Mordovia Government participated in the meeting.
ABOUT 10 MILLION KILOMETRES OF OPTICAL FIBER WILL BE PRODUCED IN SARANSK PER YEAR
Three million kilometres of optical fiber has been produced in Saransk for three years since the first in Russia plant for its production started its operation in Saransk. In the future, the company plans to manufacture ten million kilometres of optical fiber per year.
The Regional centre for regulatory and technical support of innovations of the Republic of Mordovia (Regional centre) was established on the basis of Technopark-Mordovia with the participation of the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs of RUSNANO Group. The regional centre is an element of the innovation infrastructure of the Republic of Mordovia, providing innovative products with access to open markets.
THE FIRST ROAD TRAIN FROM MORDOVIA WENT TO KAZAKHSTAN
In early August Mordovagromash assembled the first road train for carrying grain on the chassis of 36 tones KAMAZ vehicle. It was aimed for Kazakhstan. This is a completely new product for the enterprise, that has begun to master the automotive manufacture. Until recently, Mordovagromash mostly produced towed equipment. So, the share of the company in tractor trailers production for the Russian market varies from 37 to 45%.
MORDOVIA OPTICAL FIBER CAN BECOME ONE OF THE HUNDRED BEST GOODS OF RUSSIA
Optic Fiber Systems has become the laureate of the contest "Best goods of Mordovia" in the nomination "Industrial and Technical Products". The "Best goods of Mordovia" competition was a regional stage of All-Russian contest "100 best goods of Russia".

"Export marathon" has been designed and launched together with the school of export of the Russian Export Center.
