FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS AGRARIAN COMPANIES OF MORDOVIA HAVE DOUBLED MEAT AND POULTRY PRODUCTION

For the last five years, the production output of meat and poultry has doubled in Mordovia. As the result of 2017, it is 295 thousand tons. 
There are plans to increase this number by 10 to 15 thousand tons in 2018. 
Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov: “In 2012, we produced 145 thousand tons of meat. For the last five years, we have reached the results that once seemed impossible. We have doubled this number. Now we have an objective to produce up to 400 thousand tons of meat and poultry by 2022. The capacity of livestock breeding complexes being under construction will make it possible.”

THE VOLUME OF EXPORT OF GOODS PRODUCED IN MORDOVIA HAS GROWN BY 38%

As a result of 2017, the volume of export in the industry of Mordovia grew by 38%. It became 215 million USD. For the last three years this indicator has increased 2.5 times from four to ten billion rubles. 
Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov noted that the significant growth of export was a result of modernization and innovative development of Mordovia economy. Just in 2017 there were implemented about fifteen projects resulted in establishment or renovation of industrial enterprises.

IT-CONFERENCE B.CON TOOK PLACE IN SARANSK

Representatives of leading IT-companies of Russia and Belarus, higher educational establishments, colleges and schools took part in the conference, which has become a significant event for the republic. The event was organized by Saransk company Bytex. 
The participants of the conference could share their experience and insights, learn how the educational establishments of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Minsk train and retrain IT-specialists, and discuss labor market demand with potential employers.

THE PRODUCTION OUTPUT OF TALINA GROUP IN MORDOVIA HAS INCREASED 4.5 TIMES

For the last five years, the production output of Talina Group, one of the biggest agrarian enterprises in Mordovia, has grown 4.5 times. In three years, the group of companies will produce goods for the value of 30 billion rubles per year. 
This fast developing enterprise is a flagship of Mordovia agroindustrial complex. The group of companies is going to launch new production facilities in Insar, Kovylkino and Torbeevo districts of Mordovia.

A COMPANY FROM MORDOVIA HAS LAUNCHED A JOINT ENTERPRISE IN BURUNDI

A company from Mordovia has launched a joint enterprise in the Eastern Africa. The plant for lamps and streetlights production was opened in Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi. The lamps and streetlights will be produced under TLLINNO trademark. Saransk plant Lisma owns 49% share of the enterprise.

IN MORDOVIA THERE WAS DISCUSSED THE SECOND CONSTRUCTION PHASE OF OPTIC FIBER PRODUCTION FACTORY

By March 15, 2018 the first factory of optic fiber production in Russia Optic Fiber Systems had manufactured two million kilometers of optic fiber. The production capacity of the factory is two and a half million kilometers per year. Thus, the commercial production of almost all kinds of optiс fiber has become possible: for telecommunication cables, defense industry, enterprises with complex facilities and companies producing oil and gas.

The Gross Regional Product of Mordovia has gone up by 22.3% for the last five years. Industrial production volume has grown by 20% The volume of production in agriculture has gone up by 30%. 
These numbers were announced by Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov during the days of the Republic of Mordovia in the Federal Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia.

CHAIRMAN OF THE FEDERAL COUNCIL VALENTINA MATVIYENKO AND HEAD OF MORDOVIA VLADIMIR VOLKOV DISCUSSED THE PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION

Chairman of the Federal Council Valentina Matviyenko hold a meeting with Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov. 
In the meeting, there also participated Chairman of the State Assembly of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Chibirkin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federal Council’s Committee on international affairs Serguey Kislyak and Deputy Chairman of the Federal Council’s Committee on federal structure, regional policy, local governments and the North affairs Vladimir Lityushkin. The two Senate parliamentarians represent Mordovia in the upper chamber of the parliament.

CONFECTIONERY PRODUCED IN MORDOVIA RECEIVED AWARDS OF “PRODEXPO-2018”

Confectionery of Saransk factory Lamzur won two silvers and a gold at the 25th Jubilee International Exhibition for Food, Beverages and Food Raw Materials – Prodexpo-2018. 
The annual exhibition Prodexpo-2018 is the main event for food industry enterprises of Russia. It is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Russia.

THE SHARE OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS IN MORDOVIA OUTPUT HAS REACHED 29 PER CENT

Mordovia has become a leader among the regions of Russia considering the share of innovative products in total output, which is 29 per cent. 
Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov announced it during the meeting dedicated to the day of Russian science. He also mentioned effective work of Technopark Mordovia. There are 107 resident companies employing over 2,000 people. In 2017 it was ranked 5th out of 118 technoparks of Russia.

MORDOVIA IS THE 7TH AMONG THE REGIONS OF RUSSIA IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL STABILITY

At the end of January Mordovia improved its position in the rating of regions with maximum social and political stability. The republic shifted from the eighth position to the seventh. The results were published in the research of the St. Petersburg Politics Fund. Belgorod region, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Kaluga region are the leaders of the rating.
