Mordovia Investment Team Improves Skills at RANEPA
Ten representatives of the Republic of Mordovia took part in the educational program "Managerial Skills. Development of Regional Teams", organized by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The delegation included representatives of executive authorities, development institutions, municipalities and business associations of the region. Among them were employees of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Mordovia: Deputy General Director Svetlana Antonova and Deputy Head of the Investment Development Department Andrey Viktorovich.
The corresponding decision was announced at a cabinet meeting Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. This decision will increase the number of hotel rooms by a third — up to 78 thousand, and also build 17 water parks, 11 ski resorts, and two year-round amusement parks. More than 50 Russian regions have announced their readiness to implement the projects. “This will create additional opportunities for our citizens to travel more often around Russia, get to know the country, and see the beauty and diversity of the regions”, — Mikhail Mishustin emphasized at a government meeting.
The 3rd Land Forum "Mastor" to be held in Saransk
The Land Forum "Mastor", which will be held in the capital of Mordovia on May 29-30, will receive international status for the first time this year. This was announced by the head of the Republic of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov at a meeting of the organizing committee. "The forum was first held two years ago and immediately received high praise," the leader of the region emphasized. "Interest in the event is growing year after year - this will be the third forum in Saransk."
The Republic of Mordovia is still accepting applications for the annual Entrepreneur of the Year competition, timed to coincide with Russian Entrepreneurship Day. Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as self-employed citizens, can participate.
To submit an application, you have to provide a set of documents.
Mordovia farmers have sown almost a third of the area with spring grain crops
Spring sowing of grain and leguminous crops is actively continuing in the Republic of Mordovia. At the moment, the total area of sown land is 80 thousand hectares. According to the official portal of the state authorities of the Republic of Mordovia, this is more than 28 percent of the volume planned for spring sowing. The largest number of fields sown with grain crops are located in the Atyashevsky, Kovylkinsky, Chamzinsky, Ardatovsky and Atyurevsky districts. Here, farmers also grow perennial grasses.
The first flexible solar module plant in Russia has been launched in Mordovia
On April 15, as part of the extended meeting of the Presidium of the State Council "On the development of infrastructure for life", which was chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the production of flexible solar modules was launched in Mordovia. The Head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov took part in the meeting via videoconference. The project is being implemented by RUSNANO jointly with the regional Government. Currently, the plant already produces flexible modules from crystalline cells, the new robotic enterprise will produce photovoltaic panels using advanced technology of vacuum deposition of Copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS).
Saransk and Yekaterinburg to be connected by regular direct flights
From April 26, direct regular flights will begin to operate between the capital of Mordovia and Yekaterinburg. They will be operated by Red Wings. Flights will be operated every Saturday. The schedule provides for the arrival of the plane from Yekaterinburg to Saransk at 09:25, and the return flight is scheduled 21:20.
Mordovia businesses can present themselves for free at a unique showcase of creative industries
In the Republic of Mordovia, there is an opportunity to promote a business in the creative industries for free. To do this, you can use a special platform, "Showcase of Creative Industries". On this platform, entrepreneurs can present their goods and services. The platform is available both to residents of the region and to those who are outside it.
Small technology companies in Mordovia can count on a loan at a reduced rate
Applications are being accepted under the program of concessional lending to small technology companies. You can apply on the digital platform МСП.РФ, which operates under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". The program is implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation together with the SME Corporation. Businesses can get a loan at the "key rate minus 7%". Recipients are small technology companies with revenues ranging from 100 million to 4 billion rubles and a revenue growth rate of 10% over two years.
Mordovian cities were included in the Urban Environment Quality Rating
The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation annually generates an index of the quality of Russian cities. This rating reflects actual changes and allows to determine further development priorities. All seven cities of Mordovia were included in the Urban Environment Quality Rating and have strengthened their positions since last year. This was the result of work on the improvement of public spaces, including within the framework of the national project "Housing and urban environment". For example, the capital of the republic, Saransk, showed significant growth, reaching a score of 222 points.
On April 4, Fatima Gatieva, Advisor to the Director General of Mordovia Development Corporation, visited the Stavropol Territory Development Corporation. The visit was aimed at sharing experiences. Successful cases and methods of attracting investments were presented at the meeting, as well as effective approaches to supporting investment projects were discussed. One of the key topics was identifying the potential for further cooperation between the regions.
On April 2, management of Mordovia Development Corporation held a working meeting with administration of Zubovo-Polyansky municipal district. During the meeting, the main focus was on the analysis of district's investment potential. The parties discussed the developed municipal investment profile. Following the negotiations, steps were identified to improve the investment climate in the municipality. Among the key initiatives is the organization of a meeting with representatives of the local business community.
