LISMA AND VILED (ST. PETERSBURG) COMBINING ITS ASSETS ON THE BASIS OF MORDOVIAN FACTORY
LISMA, the Saransk Lighting Plant is joining the VI Group LED lighting systems manufacturer (St. Petersburg’s VILED and VILAMP brands) under the control of STORM GROUP investment and industrial company, as said in LISMA’s statement.
AN IT-TEAM FROM SARANSK STARTED COOPERATING WITH LEADING COMPANIES OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Infomaximum, an IT team from Saransk, that developed the first Russian process mining Proceset class system, announced that they start cooperating with the leading Russian companies from the top 10 of their economy sectors. The total number of customers today has exceeded 1200.

The production of modern bactericidal recirculators (devices for effective disinfection and air purification) has been launched in Saransk. Mordovian scientists’ development is intended for the prevention and control of infectious diseases, viruses, microbes, bacteria and can be used both on the enterprises and at home. Under the threat of coronavirus, the novelty generated increased interest among buyers.
MORDOVIAN LIGHTING ENGINEERS WILL START PRODUCING MEDICAL GLASS
Lisma, a lighting company from Mordovia, that is considered to be the largest producer of lighting equipment in Russia, will start producing medical glass. A new investment project, launched at the plant by Interpharmglass company, will not only help in saving the brand, but it will also help staff to keep their jobs and to create new ones.
THE PRODUCTION OF FIBER OPTICS IN MORDOVIA WILL RISE UP TO 10 MILLION KILOMETERS PER YEAR
After modernization the only Russian factory for the industrial production of optical fiber in Saransk managed to double their production up to 4 million kilometers per year. After the completion of the second stage of the plant, this figure will grow up to 10 million kilometers of fiber annually.
THE EXPORT OF EGG PRODUCTS FROM MORDOVIA WILL GROW BY QUARTER
Ruzovo egg production company from Ruzaevka monotown plans to increase their export by quarter this year. In 2019 200 tons were sent to foreign consumers to seven countries all over the world, and in 2020 the amount of deliveries will reach 250 tons.
The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has elaborated a package of draft laws providing for the right to risk to subjects of innovation, primarily representatives of high-tech companies. It is proposed to amend the federal law "On Science and the State Scientific and Technical Policy", the Budget Code and the Criminal Code. A notice on the elaboration of documents is posted on the federal page of draft regulatory legal acts.
THE GOVERNMENT WILL INTRODUCE A 10 YEARS PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF WORLDSKILLS MOVEMENT IN RUSSIA
The Government, along with the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), will establish an autonomous non-profit organization called The Agency for the Development of Professional Excellence. The new organization will be developing the WorldSkills movement in Russia. The event plan with the sources of financing for 2021–2030 will be elaborated by June 1. It is stated in the order of the government published on the official Internet page for legal information.
The number of residents of the first Territory of Advanced Social and Economic Development in Mordovia (TASED) called Ruzayevka has grown up to 12. Companies called Konstrukstionnye Composity (Constructional Composites) and RuzKhimNefteMash have recently received preferential business status. This was the decision of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.

A RECORD AMOUNT OF SUGAR HAS BEEN PRODUCED IN MORDOVIA
The sugar production in Mordovia has exceeded all expectations. By January 16, the Romodanovo sugar factory, where the sugar beet processing season is now ending, produced 145 thousand tons of sugar, which is almost 63 thousand tons more than the last year.
