THE GLASS FACTORY WAS REOPENED WORK IN RUZAEVKA PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT AREA

The  glass factory was reopened in Ruzaevka single-industry town. The first production line was launched on Sunday. The glass furnace #1 was solemnly launched by Vladimir Volkov, head of the Republic of Mordovia, and Vladimir Arutyunov, investor and founder of Glass Décor company and Razvitiye (Development) company.

MORDOVIA STEPS FORWARD IN OPTICAL FIBER PRODUCTION

A huge project for the Optovolokonnye sistemy (Fiber-Optic Systems) plant modernization has been completed in Mordovia. Its total value was over 950 million rubles, 500 million of them were loaned by the Industry Development Fund. Head of the Republic of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov inspected the production. New modern equipment will let the company increase the efficiency of the existing production and create conditions for the development of new product options.

The third meeting of the Council for Interregional Cooperation of the Regions of the Volga Federal District and the Upper and Middle Flows of the Yangtze River of the People's Republic of China chaired by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and by member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Wang Yong was held in Cheboksary on 23rd of May.

BELARUS TOUR OPERATORS CAME WITH A WORKING VISIT TO MORDOVIA

The neighboring country’s tour agents visited Saransk at the invitation of the Mordovian Export Support Center. The main goal of the visit is to attract the tourists from Belarus. A delegation from a friendly republic arrived in Saransk on 14th of May. There was a 3-day tourist program made for the guests together with the Mordovian Tourist Information Center. It included a traditional introduction to the main attractions of Saransk and Mordovia, a tour of hotels of all categories, and a series of business meetings with the tourist community of Mordovia.
