A NEW RESIDENT HAS JOINED THE PDA “RUZAEVKA”

The register of residents of the territory of advanced development PDA “Ruzaevka” has been supplemented with a new resident. The company “Dobryi khozyain – Ruzaevka” has been granted preferential business status. The company is implementing an investment project to establish a new high-tech production of wet pet food with a capacity of 36 thousand tons per year. The total project cost exceeds 3.6 billion rubles. The new production facility will employ 182 workers.

THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA IS ON THE INVESTMENT MAP OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

This year, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has developed and put into operation a unified investment map for Russian and foreign entrepreneurs and investors. The resource is based on the investment maps of the Russian regions that were developed during the implementation of RIS 2.0. The map provides detailed information on 272 available investment sites in the Republic of Mordovia. This includes 14 investment sites with preferential treatment under the PDA “Ruzaevka”, as well as information on 134 land plots and 138 buildings and structures.

THE SOWING CAMPAIGN HAS BEGUN IN MORDOVIA

In Mordovia, the spring sowing has begun. This year, 763,000 hectares have been allocated for cereal crops. The region's enterprises have everything necessary to complete the work on time and in accordance with all agrotechnical norms. This information is reported by the official website of the authorities of the Republic of Mordovia. Compared to last year, the sowing area has increased by 4,000 hectares. The majority will be sown in spring, with 518,000 hectares dedicated to spring crops. These include cereals such as wheat, barley, maize, oats, millet, and buckwheat, as well as legumes like peas and lentils. Additionally, 111,000 hectares will be cultivated for oilseeds and 25,000 hectares for industrial crops. Almost 156,000 hectares have been allocated for winter crops in the republic.

A COMMUNITY OF MUNICIPAL INVESTMENT COMMISSIONERS IS BEING FORMED IN RUSSIA

In Russia, a community of municipal investment commissioners is being formed. This was announced by the Executive Director of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAIDA), Rafael Khusyainshin. “Now, special attention is being paid to the issues of building a system for working with investors at the local level - in municipalities”, he emphasized. “A special role is assigned to municipal investment commissioners. In their work, they require a wide range of skills and competencies: understanding the principles of government bodies' operation, business structures, language proficiency, understanding of investment and other financial processes, sectoral knowledge, and so on. To form a community of municipal investment commissioners, NAIDA, together with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Government of the Tyumen Region, will hold a Municipal Investment Forum, which will kick off a series of specialized events for municipal entities in 2024”.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Moldova, together with the “My Business” Center, is organizing a practical seminar on increasing sales on marketplaces and auditing the stores of existing sellers. The practical seminar will help small and medium-sized businesses learn how to start on top marketplaces, choose products correctly, and avoid the mistakes made by 90% of novice sellers when creating a store.

THE INDUSTRIAL PARK SVETOTEKHNIKA HAS BEEN ACCREDITED BY THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The industrial park Svetotekhnika, based on the Lisma plant in Saransk, has been accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. It will be included in the federal registry. This will enable the park to qualify for government support measures. As reported by the Ministry of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia, agreements have currently been reached with 8 potential residents.

SARANSK “CHILDREN'S FOOD STATION” BECAME THE WINNER OF THE NATIONAL ORGANIC COMPETITION

In Russia, the winners of the third National Organic Competition have been announced. One of them is the kefir product from the Saransk “Children's Food Station”. The award was won in the subcategory “New Organic Product for Processors”. Let's remind that this year, almost 339 applications from 51 Russian regions were submitted to the competition. This is 17% more than the previous year. The best were selected in 16 nominations. In one of them – “People's Organic Brand” – the winner was determined based on the results of an all-Russian vote. Over 160,000 people participated in the survey.

IN MORDOVIA, THE UTILIZATION OF PRODUCTION CAPACITIES IN INDUSTRY AND CONSTRUCTION HAS INCREASED

The capacity utilization in the Russian economy reached historical highs by the end of 2023. This is stated in the March issue of the report by the Bank of Russia “Regional Economy: Comments by the Main Department”. Analysts from the regulator note that the level of production utilization was influenced by increased demand for domestic products. In Mordovia, according to surveys conducted by the Bank of Russia, capacity utilization in the fourth quarter of 2023 reached 89%. In particular, it increased over the year for industrial enterprises and construction organizations.

THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY OF MORDOVIA HAS PRESENTED MEASURES TO SUPPORT THE FORESTRY COMPLEX

A working meeting on the topic “Development of organizations in the forestry complex of the Republic of Mordovia” was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Mordovia. The event was attended by representatives of government bodies, the Deputy Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurial Rights in the Republic of Mordovia, and forest plot lessees. It should be noted that in the forestry and logging sector of Mordovia, there are currently around 30 organizations employing 559 people, almost a third of whom work in small and medium-sized businesses.

THE MINISTRY OF CONSTRUCTION OF RUSSIA HAS IDENTIFIED CITIES WITH FAVORABLE URBAN ENVIRONMENTS

The results of the calculation of the Urban Environment Quality Index for the year 2023 have been published. 36 different indicators were evaluated, including housing, public and business infrastructure, social and leisure infrastructure, adjacent spaces, green areas, waterfronts, street infrastructure, and urban public spaces. For the urban environment to be considered favorable, the quality index should exceed 180 points.

THIS YEAR, THE BUSINESS SECTOR IN MORDOVIA PLANS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PREFERENTIAL MICROLOANS AND GUARANTEES

Since the beginning of last year, subjects of small and medium-sized businesses in the republic have been granted 341 microloans totaling 736.9 million rubles, which exceeds the 2022 figure by 52.5 million rubles. An increase in the number of microloans issued is expected in 2024 as well. Thanks to the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative” the number of active microloans for SMEs will exceed five hundred. Additionally, subjects of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship are provided with guarantee support. The amount of guarantees for this year amounted to almost 452 million rubles.

THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION HAS SIMPLIFIED THE PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING NOTIFICATIONS OF THE COMMENCEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL ACTIVITIES

On April 1, 2024, certain provisions of the Federal Law establishing a new procedure for notifying the commencement of entrepreneurial activities came into force. In accordance with this law, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has developed a draft resolution, which has been approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. According to the Law, entrepreneurs (legal entities, individual entrepreneurs) can notify regulatory authorities about the start of their business without leaving their homes - through the Gosuslugi portal. To systematize and account for such notifications, a unified electronic register has been created.
