Unique pultrusion production of polymer composites has been launched in Mordovia
On August 27, a unique high-tech production facility of the “Rosatom” State Corporation composite division opened in Mordovia. This is the second stage of the “Polymer Composites Center” production cluster for the production of composite structures and ready-made solutions for various industries. The Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, took part in the opening of the production site located on the territory of the advanced socio-economic development “Ruzaevka”. It should be noted that composite production is developing in Russia on behalf of the country's leadership.
According to the results of the second quarter of 2025, total volume of purchases by the largest state-owned companies from the self-employed of Mordovia exceeded 72.5 million. A year earlier, this figure compared to the same period was just over 3 million rubles. The number of self-employed people who purchase from large state-owned companies has also increased. If in the middle of last year there were only 12 of them in the republic, this year there are already 21 self-employed. At the same time, the number of contracts increased to 26 with an increase of 30% compared to the same indicator last year.
Applications for participation in the Business Battle project are being accepted
The project is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses and searching for promising start-ups. Aspiring entrepreneurs over the age of 18 who have innovative ideas or ready-made projects can take part in the competition. The finalists will present their projects to the grand jury, which will include the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, mentors, partners and sponsors.
Business activity center will be built in Ruzaevka
In Mordovia, it is planned to implement the Business Activity Center investment project, which will help increase the availability of financial services in Ruzaevka. The total cost of the project is more than 33.6 million rubles. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in 2026. The organization's right to receive a land plot for the implementation of an investment project was confirmed at a meeting of the Committee for Improving the Investment Climate in Mordovia.
A strategic session on designing a map of the creative development of the region was held in Saransk
On August 14, with the support of Mordovia Development Corporation, the first strategic session "Republic of Mordovia: the Code of Creativity. Economics of Values and Meanings" was held in the capital of the region with the participation of federal experts. Its main result was the development of a map of the growth points of the creative economy of Mordovia.
The tourist flow has grown in Mordovia
In June, according to preliminary data, the tourist flow in most regions of the Volga-Vyatka State Bank of Russia was higher than last year. This is stated in the July issue of the report of the Bank of Russia "Regional Economy: comments". According to Rosstat, in January–May 2025, Mordovia was visited by more than 86 thousand tourists. This is 16% more than in the same period last year. Leading regional tour operators also note an increase in demand for their services. This is also due to the expansion of the tourist infrastructure: new campsites and tourist routes were opened, new beaches were built last year on the shores of reservoirs in the region, as well as in Saransk.
Entrepreneurs participating in the special operation and SMEs supplying equipment for the special operation needs can count on government support for their business. Thus, thanks to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", since the beginning of 2025, over 270 million rubles have been raised in the form of microloans through the Digital platform SME.RF. Entrepreneurs from seven regions took advantage of the opportunity to receive funds on special terms from state microfinance organizations. The average rate for them was 3.4%, and in some regions - 1%. In Mordovia, no one has used this support measure in this category of entrepreneurs yet.
The validity period of an entry in the register of Russian industrial products, which confirms its domestic origin, has been increased from three to five years. Increasing the validity period of the record will reduce the costs of companies to assess the localization level, as well as significantly reduce the administrative burden on domestic manufacturers. Thus, participation in public procurement will be possible without regular reissue of the documentation required for admission to the auction. In addition, the decision will give manufacturers the opportunity to apply for government support measures that are designed for a period of more than three years.
Mordovian business receives state support for investment projects
Small and medium-sized businesses in Mordovia received financial assistance from the state in the amount of 250 million rubles in the first half of 2025. Over 40 entrepreneurs have been supported through the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". Businesses across the country have raised about 110 billion rubles for investment purposes thanks to the financial instruments of participants in the National Guarantee System. This is 10% more than in the same period of 2024.
From August 6 to 8, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the second module of the educational program "Managerial skills: developing regional teams", organized by the RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Mordovian investment team was among the participants.
On August 7, the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, met with a group of entrepreneurs of the republic who proposed the establishment of a Mordovian family grocery store in Saransk. It was noted that the space will unite family-owned private farms of the republic, as well as creative family brands. The grocery store will be located in the central part of the capital. The initiative to create it was proposed by Vladimir Vybornov, entrepreneur, CEO of “ALS-Volga Region”, the main sponsor of the “Shumbrat” football team. Maxim Volkovsky, the founder of the Three Farmers chain of stores, will be responsible for the farming area of the project, and art entrepreneur, founder of INKRUA, Artur Salyakaev, will be responsible for the creative concept and family brands.
A strategic session on the development of gastrotourism in Mordovia was held in Saransk
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mordovia hosted a meeting of representatives of regional authorities, the tourism industry, education, restaurateurs, public and youth organizations. The participants jointly figured out the current situation, identified strengths and weaknesses for the subsequent development of regional gastrotourism. It should be recalled that in March of this year, ASI launched the program "I'll drive through Russia". Mordovia, which has shown good gastronomic potential, has entered the top three regions for further participation in the program.
