APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE ALL-RUSSIAN SELECTION OF INCLUSIVE PRACTICES

Since March 2022, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects ANO has been implementing the Open for All inclusive project within the framework of the National Social Initiative, aimed at involving businesses in the creation of an accessible environment, services and services for people with disabilities and limited health opportunities, searching for and replicating new technologies in inclusion.

FOUR CITIES IN MORDOVIA WIN COMFORTABLE URBAN ENVIRONMENT PROJECT COMPETITION

Four proposals from Mordovia submitted to the 9th All-Russian Competition for the Best Urban Environment Improvement Projects have been declared winners. Each proposal was prepared with the participation of the Mordovia Development Corporation. The competition results were announced at the Development of Small Towns and Historical Settlements All-Russian Forum in Kaluga. A total of 240 proposals were selected as winners, including four cities from the Republic of Mordovia: Kovylkino, Ardatov, Krasnoslobodsk, and Ruzaevka.

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT APPROVES DECREE ON SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS FOR GRID CONNECTION VIA THE STATE SERVICES PORTAL

Starting January 1, 2026, citizens and organizations will be able to submit applications for connection to the electrical grids of all power grid companies through their personal accounts on the State Services portal. This information was announced on the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation. The decision aims to simplify and expedite the process of technological connection to electrical grids. It will affect both individuals building summer cottages or residential homes and construction companies erecting residential, social, industrial, and other facilities.

REPRESENTATIVE OF THE MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION TOOK PART IN THE MIF

From August 21 to 23, the Municipal Investment Forum (MIF) took place in Lipetsk, organized with the support of the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies. The event was attended by a representative of the Mordovia Development Corporation, Andrey Viktorovich, Deputy Head of the Investment Development Department. Forum participants discussed mechanisms for enhancing the investment appeal of municipalities and the development of the institution of investment commissioners. The discussions also covered key trends and the promotion of the Municipal Investment Standard.

ENTREPRENEURS IN MORDOVIA CAN REGISTER A TRADEMARK FREE OF CHARGE

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Mordovia now have the opportunity to register their trademarks free of charge during the Rospatent examination stage. According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia, this initiative is made possible through the implementation of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”.

MEETING OF THE INVESTMENT COMPETITION COMMISSION WAS HELD AT THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY OF MORDOVIA

A regular meeting of the Investment Competition Commission was held at the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Mordovia. The agenda included a review of investment projects seeking to conclude additional agreements within the framework of existing arrangements for activities on the Priority Development Area established in the single-industry municipality (monotown) of Ruzaevka.

Olga Kidyamkina and Ekaterina Shumkova, employees of the Investment Development Department of the Mordovia Development Corporation, took part in the School of Attractors Investment Campus. The event, organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAIDA), was held from 13 to 15 August in Miass. As part of the educational program, the participants were told about the system of attracting investors in the regions, as well as channels of communication and attracting investors. At the same time, they also talked about investment hospitality, in particular, how to prepare for the arrival of an investor.

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT EXPANDED THE LIST OF TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE CONCLUSION OF SPECIAL INVESTMENT CONTRACTS

The Government of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of technologies for the conclusion of special investment contracts (SPIC), which is one of the most popular mechanisms of state support for companies interested in the development of innovations. This is reported by the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation. Tax benefits and other preferences are retained for the duration of the project, which helps to achieve a return on investment. In addition, this mechanism ensures the attraction of long-term financing.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION HELD A WORKING MEETING WITH INVESTORS FROM CHINA

On August 14, a working meeting of investors from China with the Mordovia Development Corporation, represented by Director General Kamil Arslanbekov, Deputy Director General for Investment Development Vyacheslav Chudaykin and Deputy Head of the Investment Development Department Sergey Kochevatov, was held. They discussed the creation of a production facility for bottling and storage of liquid household chemicals (gels) on the territory of Mordovia. In a short period of time, specialists of the Mordovia Development Corporation selected six sites. Of the proposed options, investors from China were interested in three. The pros and cons of each site were explained directly on the spot.

MORDOVIA WILL RECEIVE OVER 37 MILLION RUBLES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RENTAL HOUSING FOR RURAL SPECIALISTS

The Republic of Mordovia has become one of 18 regions of the Russian Federation to receive federal budget subsidies for the construction of rental housing for specialists coming to work in rural areas. According to the decree signed by the Chairman of the Russian Government, Mikhail Mishustin, Mordovia will receive over 37 million rubles. Commenting on the decision, Mikhail Mishustin noted that specialists will have the option to purchase these houses or apartments under certain conditions. The main condition is continuous employment in rural areas.

MORDOVIA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PARTICIPATED IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE MORDOVIA-CHINA ART RESIDENCE

The Mordovia-China Art Residence has concluded in Saransk. The event involved young designers from the region and 10 entrepreneurs from China, specializing in areas such as design, interior design, fashion, landscape design, industrial production, artificial intelligence design, urban development, and artistic products. Over the course of a week, the participants of the Art Residence visited key locations in Mordovia, exchanged experiences and ideas, attended lectures, and worked on a collaborative design project.

STARTING IN 2025, LANDOWNERS WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL THREE YEARS TO PREPARE THEIR PLOTS FOR TARGETED USE

Landowners will receive an additional three years to prepare their plots for use according to their designated purpose. The corresponding law has been signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and will come into effect on March 1, 2025. For plots for which ownership will be formalized after March 1 of the next year, the development period will be calculated from the date of acquiring rights to them. For plots already owned, the period will start from March 1, 2025.
