NANOCENTER OF MORDOVIA WILL SUPPORT THE CREATION OF THE ORGANIC CYBERGECTAR PLATFORM
In Mordovia, it is planned to create a cyber platform for testing the smart agro model. This is reported by the Center for Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials of the Republic of Mordovia. The platform, combined with digitalization tools, will increase the efficiency of crop production, including in the organic farming segment. The best practices will be replicated in Russia and abroad.
THE QUALIFYING STAGE OF THE 67TH WORLD PLOWING CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE HELD IN MORDOVIA
On September 22-25, the qualifying stage of the 67th World Plowing Championship will be held in Mordovia. The venue will be one of the fields of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "May 1" of the Oktyabrsky district of Saransk. Russia applied for the right to host the world plowing championship back in 2009. And so, in 2022, it will be held in our country for the first time.
The second National Competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia" received 620 applications from 78 regions of the country. Three applications for the competition were received by the organizing committee and from food producers from Mordovia. Cheese, condensed milk and mineral water from the depths of the region-13 apply for participation in the show.
ASI WILL DEVELOP CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION PROGRAMS FOR REGIONS
Adaptation to climate change and support for environmental projects will become one of the main areas of work of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. This was announced at a press conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Agency. ASI General Director Svetlana Chupsheva noted that at the federal level, the Ministry of Economic Development has developed a plan for adaptation to climate change. It is important that it be decomposed into management decisions in the regions.
CELEBRATION OF THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CANONIZATION OF FEDOR USHAKOV IS HELD IN MORDOVIA
On August 4-5, events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the canonization of the great naval commander Fyodor Ushakov are being held in Mordovia. Fyodor Ushakov was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church as a locally venerated saint of the Diocese of Saransk and Mordovia. At the same time, the holy relics of the legendary admiral were found in the Sanaksar monastery.
The development of reclamation systems and the implementation of the harvesting campaign in the Republic of Mordovia were discussed at the working meeting by First Deputy Minister Dzhambulat Khatuov and Acting Head of the Region Artyom Zdunov. At the beginning of the week, harvesting operations started in the republic. To date, 5.2 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been threshed, 14.4 thousand tons have been threshed. This year, the sown area of spring crops in the region amounted to 478.7 thousand hectares, which is 26 thousand hectares more than last year.
RM RAIL SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH RDC VAGONY AND SPSUR
The company RM Rail signed a memorandum of cooperation with the research and development center Vagony and the St. Petersburg State University of Railways. The signing took place today as part of the XV International Scientific and Technical Conference "Rolling Stock of the XXI century (ideas, requirements, projects)" in St. Petersburg. The agreement is aimed at expanding research and innovation infrastructure, as well as increasing human resources.
YOUNG SCIENTISTS FROM MORDOVIA ARE WINNERS OF THE PRESIDENTIAL PROGRAM OF RESEARCH PROJECTS
The winners of the 2021 youth competitions of the Presidential Program of Research Projects conducted by the Russian Science Foundation have been announced. According to the results of the competitions, the foundation supported 469 initiative projects of young scientists in the amount of 1.5-2 million rubles annually, 318 youth research groups with funding of 3-6 million rubles.
THE COMPETITION OF REGIONAL BRANDS OF FOOD PRODUCTS “TASTE OF RUSSIA” STARTED
The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev announced the holding of the second National Competition of Regional Food Brands "Tastes of Russia". The competition is aimed at popularizing the unique products of Russian regions and supporting small agribusiness. The competition also contributes to the development of agritourism and rural areas in general.
On June 20, the closing ceremony of the final stage of the republican personnel project "My Mordovia" was held in the House of the Republic. According to the results of the final, 40 people became winners of the project. Among the winners of the competition, who were included in the regional reserve of management personnel, there are two employees of the Mordovia Development Corporation: consultant of the Design Solutions Center Denis Beloglazov and consultant of the Legal Department Anton Nazarov.
DIGITAL EDUCATION CENTER WILL OPEN IN SARANSK
In September 2021, the IT-cube digital education center will open in Saransk. According to the regional education ministry, it is being created for children aged 7-18 who have an interest in information and telecommunication technologies. According to izvmor.ru, the guys will learn about the basics of algorithms and logic, cyberhygiene, get acquainted with artificial intelligence technologies, learn how to program in Python, Java, etc.
IT VILLAGE CAN BE CREATED IN MORDOVIA
On the territory of Ruzaevsky district, a strategic session was held on the development of the concept and requirements for the infrastructure of the IT-village. The project of creating an administrative and housing complex was discussed to retain specialists in this field in Mordovia and return those who had already left the region. To do this, it is necessary to develop a concept for a location where comfortable conditions for the work and living of specialists will be created with all the accompanying infrastructure.
