THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT HAS APPROVED THE PROCEDURE FOR THE FEDERAL INVESTMENT TAX DEDUCTION
The Chairman of the Russian Government, Mikhail Mishustin, announced during an operational meeting with deputy prime ministers that a decision has been made to launch and establish the procedure for applying the federal investment tax deduction. The mechanism will come into effect on January 1, 2025. Businesses that invest in their own development will have the opportunity to recover 3% of such expenses, which can be used to reduce the corporate income tax payment by the same amount.

MORDOVIA CONTINUES TO DEVELOP THE GLASS PRODUCTION SECTOR
On October 23, the Head of the Republic, Artem Zdunov, held a meeting with Vladimir Arutyunov, the founder of Razvitie Glass Company LLC, Glass-Decor LLC and Lisfarm Glass LLC. According to the press service of the Head of the Republic, they discussed issues related to cooperation in the implementation of investment projects. Currently, the Glass-Decor company is expanding its glass production in Ruzaevka. A new glass container plant is planned to be launched next year. The company has invested 1.5 billion rubles of its own funds into the construction, with the total investment amounting to 3.6 billion rubles.
On November 5, a master class titled Opportunities for Entering the Market of Belarus and Foreign Countries. Organizing Sales and Purchases Using the Trading Tools of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange will take place in Saransk. Entrepreneurs from Mordovia are invited to participate. During the event, speaker Ekaterina Latushkina will share her experience regarding the advantages of using the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) electronic trading platforms for conducting trade and procurement operations. She will discuss opportunities for entering new sales markets using marketing capabilities and exchange trading tools, as well as the procurement and sale of substitutes for critically imported goods (sanctioned products) on the BUCE import substitution platform.

On October 22, the Head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, met with the founder of the Ardatov Lighting Plant and the Lighting Fixtures Plant, Vladimir Kudashkin. According to the press service of the Head of the Republic, they discussed the development of the lighting industry in the region and the implementation of projects within the framework of the special economic zone. Both enterprises are steadily increasing their production indicators. Over the past nine months, the Ardatov Lighting Plant has produced goods worth 2.2 billion rubles, marking a 108% increase compared to the same period last year.
